Released on January 12th, the stylish star Allu Arjun is back in the Telugu film industry after a long time with Pooja Hegde starring family drama Ala Vaikunthapuram loo and is making stunning collections at the box office. It was heard that Tabu was paid a higher salary than the Hindi film. Tabu took a fat pay check of Rs 3 crore for his 15-minute role in the film, ala Vaikunthapuramloo. Though some of them call it a disappointing re-entry for actress Tabu, some say that the existence of Tabu has made the film look so fresh.
The producers of Ala Vaikunthapuramloo paid Tabu a salary of Rs 3 crores. Not so, although the role of Tabu in ala Vaikunthapuramloo is small compared to the role of Vijayasanthi in the Sarileru Neekevvaru, the remuneration is the same.
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is helmed by Trivikram Srinivas and is bankrolled by Allu Aravind and S. Radha Krishna under the banners of Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations. The film also has Jayaram, Sushanth, Navdeep, Nivetha Pethuraj, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, Sunil, Sachin Khedekar, and Harsha Vardhan play pivotal roles.
Tabu is one of the most talented actresses in the Indian film industry. She won two National Film Awards and six Filmfare Awards for Best Actress, including a record four Critics Awards for Best Actress. In 2011, the Government of India awarded Tabu the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth highest civilian honor.
On the workfront, Tabu will be seen in the Nitin Kakkar directed Hindi film Jawaani Jaaneman, with Saif Ali Khan as his 40-year-old father and debutant Alaya Furniturewala as his daughter. The film is slated to release on January 31, 2020.
