Actor-producer Nagababu Konidela has confirmed his departure from the popular comedy show Jabardasth. Nagababu, who has just finished his six-and-a-half-year journey with Jabardasth, has not appeared in the show since December.
In his latest video on his video sharing platform, Nagababu has confirmed that he has dropped out of the show.
Nagababu, who is rumored to have quit due to wage issues, said that ideological differences in the business of the company had led to his exit from the show. He promised to explain to fans the reasons and his journey to the show later.
In the video, Nagababu thanked Jabardasth producer Shyam Prasad Reddy for supporting him throughout his journey and airing the channel show.
Next week’s episodes of Jabardasth and Extra Jabardasth are his last.
However, Nagababu is expected to appear as a judge on the comedy show, which will be broadcast on another popular General Entertainment Channel (GEC).
Sources said that the show will be hosted by Pradeep Machiraju. Most notably, the show was directed by Jabardasth, who previously directed the duo Nitin and Bharat.
