The Hyderabad Metro appears to be frequent travelers, with intriguing incentives for travelers, including a passenger image and a personalized Metro card. In an effort to identify and locate their loyal commuters, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) is offering personalized metro cards to select travelers with longer journeys at selected intervals.

Twitter was blurry on Monday as the famed radio jockey shared a picture of his personalized Nebula Metro card with each of them. This was followed by a series of tweets asking passengers how to get one for themselves and whether the card had any additional rights.

Speaking to Express, “I don’t know why I was given a card or what it does differently, but a few days ago, Metro officials from Ameerpet station called and asked me to pick up a special Metro card.”

According to an L&T HMRL spokesperson, “We have identified a few customers who regularly travel with us. Because of the high usage of Metro every month, they mostly participate in our customer favors. ”

He said, “This is a special way to thank them. According to our marketing initiative, we have provided a photo sticker that can be pasted on an existing card. There are no extra features with this card. These cards work just like a regular classic card. ”

A breath of fresh air, considering that HMRL is constantly receiving flak from travelers on Twitter. Travelers often complain about the low frequency of trains, multiple technical shortcomings that lead to delays during peak hours, and lack of crowdsourcing at popular metro stations.
