Frozen 2 is as much a children’s film as it is a tale of sisterly love, age old wisdom and man’s connection with nature.
The movie starts off with a glimpse from Elsa and Anna’s childhood that depicts their mother singing them a haunting lullaby of the memories held in river Ahatahollan.
Arendelle is now a calm and joyous city reigned by Queen Elsa , ably assisted by her sister Elsa, Sven and Kristoff and of course, Olaf!!
A voice keeps Elsa awake, calling her out to set right, some wrongs done by their ancestors. This sets off the sisters into the enchanted forest, that gives them access through Elsa’s magical powers.
The audience then witness the rage and strength of the various elements wind, fire , earth and water. Elsa realises that she is the fifth spirit, the connection between nature and man, and has been bestowed with special powers to protect the enchanted forest as well as Arendelle.
Top notch in terms of animation and special effects, Frozen 2 is a beautiful tale of sister’s love that protects and nurtures, both their families as well their kingdom.
