Elephant crushes a man to death during morning walk in Karnataka

The elephant crushed a 25-year-old girl near Narayanapura village in Kanakapura taluk in Ramnagar district of Karnataka. Going into the details, Chetan Kumar of T Bekuppe village went for a morning walk with his friends at Kodihalli main road on Wednesday morning. The two friends advance on the walk and Chetan follows them. In that movement, suddenly an elephant emerged from the trees, attacked and crushed.

Chetan did not answer as he did not call his phone on his mobile. With this, they went back to look for him and found his dead body. Hundreds of people from neighboring villages came to know about the incident and staged a protest against the forest department. The forest officials and the police, who received the information, inspected the site, registered the case and conducted a further investigation.
