The Delhi Tis Hazari court has sentenced MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar to life imprisonment in the ongoing rape case. MLA Sanger was convicted in the 2017 kidnapping and rape case and the court has also filed a complaint against the CBI alleging delay in filing the chargesheet. Earlier, the court acquitted Shashi Singh, the woman accused.
For this, the CBI has asked the court to imprison Sengar. CBI has asked District Judge Dharmesh Sharma to impose maximum life imprisonment on Sengar. The CBI has requested compensation for the rape victim. The court then fined Sanger Rs 25 lakh.
In the present case, let us tell you that the court has decided on one case but in 4 other cases the decision has not yet been made. The court considered the mobile position of MLA Sanger as a big witness. The court said in its judgment that there was evidence that Shashi Singh had taken the victim to a convicted MLA. Sanger was convicted under IPC section 376, section 5 (c) and the Pokso Act.
