Bringing about much-needed change, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UAIDAI) introduced a new Aadhaar last year, which is much smaller, portable, and more durable. All new Aadhaar cards have now been reprinted on this compact version of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cards.
These cards look like your ATM cards and you can easily carry them inside your wallet. Compact PVC Aadhaar card is also equipped with features like hologram, guilloche pattern, ghost image, micro text, water conservation, etc. You can also easily verify these cards offline.
If you want to get your hands on the PCV Aadhaar card, then you can do it through two methods. You will have to visit the official UIDAI website as per the first procedure. In the second method, the Aadhaar QR code is scanned along with the post. UIDAI charges Rs 50 for the Aadhaar card delivered through speed post.
Here’s how you can order your PCV Aadhaar card:
1. Go to the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/

3. On the next page, enter your 12 digital Aadhaar card number or 16 digits virtual ID, or 28 digit Eid.
4. Verify your details with OTP verification
5. After OTP verification, you will be able to preview your Aadhaar PVC card.
