Toni-Ann Singh has written an emotional note on Instagram after winning the Miss World 2019 title in London on December 14. In the picture that she shared along with her note, Toni-Ann flashed a million-dollar smile during the photo-op after being crowned Miss World 2019.

Toni-Ann began her note by thanking Jamaica for believing in her and said that her heart is “filled with love and gratitude”. She also appreciated her friends and family for their constant support.

“You pushed me to believe in myself. I am not only honoured but humbled to be the 69th Miss World. Thank you to my family and to my friends. The love and support you poured into me now allows me to pour into the world,” Toni-Ann said in her note.

For her mother Jahrine Bailey, Toni-Ann added a special line: “I love you I love you I love you. I wish to become even half the woman you are. You are my strength, my number one supporter/cheerleader/fan and my absolute best friend”.

As for all the girls around the world, Toni-Ann wrote encouraging words, and advised them to believe in themselves.

“Please know that you are worthy and capable of achieving your dreams. This crown is not mine but yours. It’s for you to truly understand that no matter where you’re from and the cards you’re dealt in life – your dreams are valid. You have a PURPOSE,” she said.

Toni-Ann also acknowledged the effort of the pageantry organisers and thanked them for “taking a chance on me and leading the way”.

“And last but of course not least, thank you GOD. Thank you for allowing me to walk the path towards my purpose. My heart is full. One Love,” Toni-Ann said in her post as she signed off.

Toni-Ann Singh, after winning the Miss Jamaica World 2019 contest, represented Jamaica in the Miss World 2019 pageant. She is the fourth woman from Jamaica to win the Miss World title.
