Live Updates on the Delhi Floods, July 13: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Thursday that all educational institutions in the city will be closed till Sunday due to floods in numerous regions of Delhi. Except for those performing critical jobs, all government employees will be required to work remotely. He continued by saying that soon there will be a warning issued to private businesses against asking their workers to work remotely.

Following an urgent meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority called by Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena amidst the swollen Yamuna river, the CM made his declaration.

The Delhi Traffic Police issued warnings earlier in the day when the Yamuna river overflowed and flooded numerous important highways. In the national capital, commercial vehicle movement will be controlled, according to an advise. The The water level in the river was at a record 208.48 m at 8 am, and is still rising.
